BASIC LAWS OF COMPUTER SCIENCE

💭Basic laws of computer science

👉MOORE’S LAW⠀
This law states that processor speed or overall processing power for computers will double every two years.⠀

👉AMDAHL’S LAW⠀
This law is a formula used to find the maximum improvement possible by improving a particular part of a system.⠀

👉BROOKS’S LAW⠀
This law states that adding manpower to a late software project makes it later.⠀

👉LINUS’S LAW⠀
This law states that given a large enough beta-tester and co-developer base, almost every problem will be characterized quickly and the fix obvious to someone.⠀

👉GROSCH’S LAW⠀
This law states that computer performance increases as the square of the cost. If computer A costs twice as much as a computer B, computer A is expected to be 4 times as fast as computer B.⠀

👉WIRTH’S LAW
This law states that software is getting slower more rapidly than hardware is becoming faster.⠀

"A law is valuable, not because it’s a law, but because there is right in it."

💬What do you think about these laws?⠀
